The older terminals and the ground access into the region can be frustrating.
Newark has long been the workhorse of the New York airports, and it shows its age in parts. Terminal C, though, is genuinely good now, with better food and a more comfortable place to wait. The AirTrain and rail link help, even if the whole approach can feel congested at rush hour.
