The sculptural white terminal is beautiful and the whole place moves at a brisk, modern pace.

English assistance is limited and some gates involve a long walk from security.
Shenzhen's airport looks like something from the future, with that honeycombed white roof letting light pour in. As you'd hope from a tech city, it runs efficiently and my domestic connection was quick. Non-Chinese speakers should prepare a bit, since English support isn't its strongest point.
