Pros

The second terminal is bright and spacious with an efficient layout that's easy to move through.

Cons

English signage and assistance can be patchy if you don't read Chinese.

Guangzhou's airport impressed me with how clean and contemporary the newer terminal is. Getting from check-in to my gate was straightforward and never felt cramped. The one hurdle was the occasional gap in English support, so having your details ready on your phone helps.
