Spread out but easy with kids

Pros

The Skylink train circles all the terminals quickly, which saved us with a stroller and tired children.

Cons

Food options thin out at the far ends of some terminals in the evening.

Traveling with two young kids, I braced for chaos and got the opposite. Dallas is huge, but the layout is logical and the automated train between terminals is a lifesaver. We never felt rushed, and there was room for the little ones to stretch their legs between flights.
