Modern gateway for pilgrims and travelers

Pros

The newer terminal is bright and spacious, handling large family groups with plenty of room.

Cons

It gets extremely busy during pilgrimage seasons, and processing can slow to a crawl.

Jeddah's updated terminal is a big improvement, with high ceilings and space for families to gather. We traveled with grandparents and never felt cramped waiting for our flight. Timing matters here, because during the busiest religious travel periods the crowds swell and everything takes longer.
