Pros

The little patch of preserved rainforest inside the terminal is a lovely, unexpected touch.

Cons

Getting between the main terminal and the satellite requires a train, adding time to connections.

Kuala Lumpur's airport has a calm, tropical feel, and the enclosed pocket of jungle greenery is a genuine highlight. Staff were helpful and the halls were kept clean throughout my wait. Do note that reaching the satellite building means hopping on the automated train, so leave time for it.
