German efficiency done right

Pros

Clean, calm, and well organized, with a pleasant beer garden feel to some of the dining spots.

Cons

It sits a fair way from Munich, so the train in takes a while.

Munich is one of the more civilized airports I pass through regularly for work. Terminal 2 is orderly and spotless, security was sensible, and there's even a spot to enjoy a proper Bavarian beer if you have time. The only real downside is the distance from the city and the longish train ride.
