A workhorse hub with weather woes

Pros

Good dining choices and a solid position for connecting almost anywhere in the country.

Cons

Delays pile up fast whenever the Chicago weather turns, and it turns often.

O'Hare does its job as one of the country's main connecting points, and I've had plenty of smooth trips through it. The catch is the weather, which can throw the whole schedule into disarray on a bad day. When the sun's out it's fine, when it isn't, brace yourself.
