Big and functional, a hike to town

Pros

Clean, orderly terminals and the maglev option makes part of the trip into the city thrillingly quick.

Cons

It's far from the center and the two terminals are a considerable distance apart.

Pudong handles its volume well and the halls are kept tidy. The novelty of the high-speed maglev for part of the journey is a fun bonus, even if you still need onward transport after. Give yourself margin if you're switching terminals, because they're not close together.
