During school holidays the security lines swell enormously with vacationing families.
Orlando knows exactly who's coming through its doors, and the atmosphere is bright and family-friendly. My children loved riding the little shuttle trains out to the airside gates. The trade-off is the sheer volume of holiday travelers, so during peak weeks the security wait can be long.
